CEVA expands to accommodate growth in Vancouver

CEVA Logistics has announced that it is expanding its presence in Vancouver, Canada, with the opening of a new 4,941 sq m facility, increasing the company’s capacity in the area by 60%. The new location is positioned near Vancouver International Airport, the Port of Vancouver and major road arteries. The facility also provides an increase in dock doors, more trailer parking space, a freight yard to provide additional cargo container storage for ocean freight operations and 2,500 racking locations.

“We’ve enjoyed great success in the Vancouver market and were simply out of space at our former location,” said David Convery, CEVA’s Country Manager for Canada. “This facility relieves space constraints and will enable us to better serve new and existing customers – including the many multi-national customers who utilize this operation – as well as better leverage our ocean freight and eastbound less-than-truck load services.”

Services at the new facility include air and ground freight management and consolidation, global ocean NVOCC full container load and less-than-container load, ocean import, brokerage, value-added services, warehousing, distribution and sector-specific services for automotive, technology, consumer and retail, industrial and other markets.
