Rosenau Transport plans 210,000 sq ft air cargo facility at Edmonton International

Canada’s Edmonton International Airport (EIA) has announced plans for the development of a US$182m air cargo hub by Edmonton-based trucking company Rosenau Transport.

The 210,000 sq ft air cargo facility and distribution centre and warehouse at the airport is expected to open in November 2015. The facility will be built by Panattoni Development Company and is planned to serve as a hub between the company’s ground cargo and its new air freight venture.

The hub is expected to provide the capability for shippers to reach any global destination within 24 hours.
