Gebrüder Weiss opens new locations in Russia

Gebrüder Weiss has announced the opening of three branches in Moscow, Russia. The team in the Russian capital, consisting of nine employees, offers services in the areas of air and sea freight, land transport and multimodal solutions, logistics and project business.

The locations will be managed by Nadya Chudaleva, Regional Manager Gebrüder Weiss Russia, who will report directly to Vojislav Jevtic, Regional Management Air & Sea Asia at Gebrüder Weiss. Of the branches one is located in the centre of Moscow, one at Sheremetyevo airport and another at Domodedovo airport. The opening of these facilities follows the acquisition of the freight forwarding company Far Freight, and increases Gebrüder Weiss’ presence in the region.

The company states that the new locations will help to consolidate its established network and close a geographical gap between its branches in Europe and Asia. “For our customers, Russia is an important market with enormous development potential. With its experienced employees, Gebrüder Weiss will be offering its complete range of services locally with a direct link to its global branch network,” said Jevtic.
