UPS expands Worldwide Express Freight service


UPS announced that it has expanded its UPS Worldwide Express Freight service in 12 new origin and nine new destination countries globally for urgent, time-sensitive and high-value international heavyweight shipments. UPS now offers the service to 50 origin and 51 destination countries and territories throughout the world.

In the Asia Pacific region, UPS Worldwide Express Freight has been extended as an origin and destination service to Indonesia, New Zealand and Vietnam, making the service available to and from a total of 13 markets within the region.

Outside of the Asia Pacific region, UPS has added UPS Worldwide Express Freight origin services in Chile, Greece, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Slovakia and Turkey. The company has added UPS Worldwide Express Freight destination services in Chile, Israel, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

The service caters to customers in the industrial manufacturing, automotive, high-tech, retail and healthcare segments with palletised shipments over 70 kg. For shipments originating from Asia Pacific, delivery can be performed overnight to cities within Asia and in three days to Europe and the Americas.
