Lineage Logistics, a US warehousing and logistics company owned by Bay Grove, an investment firm, announced that it is expanding its Tacoma, Washington cold storage distribution facility. The new project is expected to be completed in 2015 and will nearly triple the building’s frozen warehouse capacity.
With the development Lineage’s presence in the region will total nearly 1.5m sq ft of refrigerated warehousing space across five US warehouses located in Seattle, Algona, Tacoma and Centralia. The expansion will include added dock capacity to accommodate cross-dock activity and intermodal rail business.
