Google Express expands into three new US cities


Google, an online technology and software company, has announced that it is expanding Google Shopping Express, its online retail and delivery business, to three further US cities Chicago, Boston, and Washington, D.C.

With this expansion the company claims that its express network now covers more than 7m people for same day delivery and 12m for its next-day service. Google has also shortened the services name to Google Express.

The company also announced that it has added 16 new merchants to its shopping network. These include; 1-800-Flowers, Barnes & Noble, Nine West, PetSmart, Vitamin Shoppe and Sports Authority, and regional merchants such as Paragon Sports in New York and Vicente Foods in Los Angeles.
