SingPost announced that it plans to invest S$182m to develop a 553,000 sq ft fully integrated regional e-commerce logistics hub in Singapore. The facility will cater to SingPost’s expanding e-commerce logistics business and this fast-growing market.
The 3-storey SingPost e-commerce Logistics Hub in Tampines LogisPark, Singapore, is expected to house a fully-automated parcel sorting facility on the ground floor, with two modern warehousing floors above. It will serve South East Asia and be the connecting point for SingPost to the rest of Asia. The development will also comprise an adjoining 8-storey office block to house SingPost’s local and regional logistics operations i.e. Quantium Solutions, Singapore Parcel and Lock+Store.
Construction of the e-commerce logistics hub is expected to be completed by end January 2016 andfully operational in the second half of 2016.

With this critical infrastructure in place, it will radically transform our full range of e-commerce logistics capabilities, across warehousing, fulfilment, sorting and delivery.”
In addition SingPost has rolled out its POPStation mobile app to help its customers access its network of parcel lockers across Singapore. From these lockers and using the app customers can pick up, post, return and pay for their parcels.
